As Sarah suggested I created this sheet for our family to use for our Private Eye Nature investigations. It is meant to be printed out double-sided on an 11 x 8.5 (landscape orientation) sheet of paper and then fold it in half so the short sides meet (like a card.) I can then collect these in a small notebook that fits easily into any nature pack. I thought I'd share--enjoy!

Thanks you!!! That is perfect. I am taking your lead and starting a Private-Eye group here also. We just received our order this week and LOVED it all. You have started a great blog here!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it as much as we are--it's quickly become a favorite activity around here.
ReplyDeleteYour page is much prettier than mine.
ReplyDeleteWe did our first page for Signs of Spring, the other day. My younger one wrote three stanzas of a poem to go along with his study.
Do you do a different topic each week?
Sarah
We've been doing Signs of Spring here, which has turned into a bud comparison. The kids are excited that the leaves and flowers are popping out! We also go to my friend's house, and sometimes my kids will pick something else to look at. We haven't done much writing in the class, either, because our hour is quickly taken up with choosing, observing, and drawing a specimen.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be moving on to another topic soon. What to do...
